Hello! I am so thrilled to be your new Board Member in Board District 5. As a local mom, a longtime public school educator, and a committed activist for greater equity and social justice, I truly believe that our schools are the heart and soul of our communities. I am committed to working side by side with parents, educators, community groups, and my fellow Board Members to help our students and schools thrive. Every student in Los Angeles deserves safe and stellar education.

Board District 5

Board District 5 covers Northeast Los Angeles from East Hollywood to Eagle Rock and extends down through Koreatown and Pico-Union to include much of Southeast Los Angeles (“SELA”) from Vernon to South Gate and also part of South Los Angeles.
